After making several additions to our divergent /convergent sketch portfolio we then decided to combine our ideas to make an ultimate design that combined all the qualities of what we believed were contained within a good lamp.

*The flexibility is one of the characteristics of our final design.

Target Market: Our general audience for this desk lamp is young students and children.

How we came up with our Final Design

Design Goal: Our goal in this project is to design a desk lamp using both divergent and convergent techniques in addition to the standard PLTW Design Process.

Criteria for a Good Design: Some aspects we as a group believe are essential in a good lamp include an attractive and modern design that contains multiple functions as well as doesnt hinder the lamps overall ease of use and practicality.
